The Club History

The Saxons Petanque Club was formed at the Cricklade Bowls Club in September 2008 with 6 members.
By March 2012 the membership had grown to 30 and we moved to the Cricklade Leisure Centre.
Since then the membership keeps growing, and now has approx. 60 members.
For more competitive members, the club is a member of Petanque England (PE); which holds regional events throughout the year.
There are also 2 teams that play in the local Cotswold League.
